Quality for Buildings
With the aim of simplifying certification within the field of construction, and of enhancing the clarity of benchmarks for quality, performance and reliability offered by products, services and industry operators, in late 2015 the CSTB (Scientific and Technical Centre for Building) launched QB - the Quality for Buildings certification mark.
QB is of benefit to industry professionals and supports them by offering recognition of the quality of their certified products, services or skills.
QB attests to the compliance of products with the requirements set out in the certification reference documents.
CCFAT - Commission Responsible for Issuing Technical Assessments
The Technical Assessment is the assessment issued by a group of experts representing the professions, known as the "Specialist Group", on the suitability of using innovative construction techniques. Technical Assessments are issued by the Commission Responsible for Issuing Technical Assessments (CCFAT) which is attached to the Ministry with responsibility for construction and housing.
FSC Mixed
Any product bearing this label is made from a mix of fibres from various sources:
At least 70 % of the fibres are sourced from FSC certified forests and/or are recycled fibres (post-consumer for wood products),
No more than 30 % are recycled fibres (pre-consumer for wood products), and/or "controlled" fibres. Controlled wood meets a number of criteria which are detailed on the dedicated page.

For all its composite sidings, Kaycan NatureTech offers a warranty of 25 years on the board and 15 years on the finish.
